Students &Faculty
You are a qualified for our Student & Educator discounts if you are a:
A. Full or part time student enrolled in a degree granting program at an Accredited K12 or HED Institution.
-Or-
B. Full or part time faculty or staff employed by an Accredited K12 or HED Institution.
You can prove you are a Student or Educators by supplying any of the below information:
1. Use our e-Verify service powered by The Student Clearing House. This is applicable only to higher education students. Approximately 75% of the nation's college students are in our database. Please note: Some colleges do not participate or are slow to load new students to this list.

2. A current, valid photo identification and valid evidence of current enrollment at or employment by an Educational Entity. Examples include: School photo identification card that includes date validating current status; faculty or staff paycheck stubs; student course curriculums or tuition bill with a valid date and printed with the Educational Entity logo or seal; an official letter from the registrar of the Educational Entity;
-Or-
3. For K-12 students only: when the above-listed Appropriate Identification is not available, an official verification letter from a teacher at the Educational Entity verifying the student's right to order Educational Software Products
Hints:
- Use your cell phone or digital camera to take a picture of your ID and/or Class Schedule
- Class schedule must show current enrollment status.
- Verification letter must be signed by a school official or faculty representative.
- ID cards must be either validated to current semester, or submitted with current class schedule.
Validity:
Identification provided to VarsityBuys.com shall be valid for a period of time not to exceed one (1) year from the date that the Appropriate Identification was actually furnished to VarsityBuys.com, or, if applicable, the expected graduation date for the individual, whichever is less.

Education Entities (School and Colleges)
Your institutions qualifies if it is a:
1. Public or private primary or secondary schools that provide full-time instruction for grades K-12 or a school district for such schools, and that is recognized by the state board of education as a school providing certified K-12 instruction.
2. An Accredited Institution, meaning a public or private university or college (including community, junior or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study and has received accreditation from an accrediting association recognized by either the U.S. Dept. of Education and/or a State Board of Education.
3. Administrative offices or boards of education of Educational Institutions.
4. Hospitals that are wholly owned and operated by an educational institution. Wholly owned and operated means the educational institution is sole owner of the hospital and the only entity exercising control over day to day operations.
Non-Profit
Several manufacturers allow charitable non-profit organizations to purchase software at academic discounts. If you are a recognized as a charitable non-profit under section 501(c)3 of the IRS tax code you may be eligible. Please note software purchases must be for organizational use. Not all manufacturers' products are available to non-profits.
